Gustav Kluge. Codex Delta – Artist Talk

For 60 years, Gustav Kluge has been keeping daily records with drawings, sketches, nature studies, image designs and texts in sketchbooks and diaries, and created his own Codex Delta in the knowledge of culturally and historically significant codices. »Disegno ≠ Disegno« provides a comprehensive insight into this work and combines the painter’s drawing and writing activities. An introductory text by art historian, curator, author and former director of the Museum of Fine Arts in Leipzig, Hans-Werner Schmidt, as well as a correspondence with the poet and artist Arne Rautenberg and other texts and theory-related paragraphs accompany the conceptual volume. The publication is limited to 144 copies, 55 of which are signed and numbered special editions.

On Wednesday, 10 December, at 6 pm, we invite you to an artist talk with Gustav Kluge and Hans-Werner Schmidt at our premises at Niebuhrstraße 5 in Berlin-Charlottenburg.
