We are pleased to announce our participation at Frieze Masters 2026 with a presentation devoted to one of the most enduring subjects in art history: the human figure.
Bringing together works by Eva Aeppli, Gustave Caillebotte, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Francis Picabia, Jean Dubuffet, Jean Fautrier, Lucian Freud and Frank Auerbach, among others, the selection traces how artists from the late 19th century onward returned again and again to the body as a site of observation, experimentation and reinvention.
Rather than following a chronological narrative, the works are placed in dialogue. Intimate portraits meet expressive, fragmented and complex depictions of the human figure. The presentation gives each work room to be encountered on its own terms while contributing to a wider web of meaning.
